THEY'RE ON THE WAY!
December 22, 2008.... Hunting Ducks this year has
been dismal at best but things are starting to look up for
Christmas,
lets hope we get our Christmas goose and a full bags of ducks by
the 24th.

FISHING FOR DINOSAURS
Friday November 28, 2008.... My first experience with
sturgeon was about 30 years ago on the
Columbia River
along the Oregon border.
BIG HORNS IN BIG SKY COUNTRY

Wyoming,
Big Sky Country at its best, no smog and it seems like
you can see forever, well except when there is fog in the valley
after a good rain.

September 25, 2008.... Dr. Quen Young of
San Francisco recently made another one of his frequent
treks over the hill to the valley to do a little bass fishing.
DOVE SEASON KICK'S OFF WITH A BANG
September 11, 2008.... The Dove season opener was
great this year. I always look forward to September 1st as it
means I can pick up my shotgun from then until the end of

SHARING TIME WITH OLD FRIENDS
July 21, 200.... For the last week I have been fishing New
Melones Reservoir day and night. I started last Sunday with
friend Mike Monschein and Bruce Hamby.

CAMANCHE IS LOW BUT THE FISH ARE STILL BITING
June 24, 2008.... I recently took Ken Moore of Ripon to
Lake Camanche for some trout action. We went through the
usual boat check at 5:30 a.m.

CHINESE INVADE LAKE CAMANCHE
May 22, 2008.... Dr. Quen Young, Martin Chin of
San Francisco and I recently fished Lake Camanche. On the
way up to
the lake my cell phone rang.
ANNUAL SCI EVENT A HUGE SUCCESS
May 7, 2008.... Several people that I have talked to
think that SCI dinners are just a fundraiser for people that
hunt. That is only a partial truth.

TIME TO GET UP TO THE FOOTHILL LAKES FOR A LITTLE ACTION
April 24, 2008.... So far this has been a terrible
year for ocean fishing. The salmon opener, which never happened
because man has messed it.

GOOD YEAR, BUT QUESTIONS ABOUT THE FUTURE
January 30, 2008.... This waterfowl season was very unusual
to say the least. There was great weather on the east side
of the valley for hunting
