A
WEEK OF BIRD HUNTING AND NOT WORKING IS TOUGH TO BEAT!
December 19, 2002.... I took a few days off work last week to do
some duck, pheasant and quail hunting. Last Wednesday I hunted
in the foothills and never fired a shot. I can't believe how few
ducks there have been on the east side of the valley this year!
I have only had 3 good shoots. SECOND
HALF DUCK OPENER IS HIT & MISS!
December 5, 2002.... The second half of the duck opener was good
news and bad. Some guys did great with easy early morning limits
while the majority of the hunters struggled just to bag a few
birds.

November 7, 2002.... The local ducks have been pretty well

to a little goose hunting Saturday of last week. We now have a
large population of home grown Canadian Geese that were born and
raised right in the central valley.

August 29, 2002.... With the past weeks weather being colder than

His
first trout was a beauty
Luis Chan reeled and reeled
as he fought the first trout he had ever tried to catch. When he
finally got the fish to the boat, it was a beauty, in the 5-pound
class. Luis sat down and exclaimed, "Boy, that's a lot of
reeling!" Be
patient with your bait
Got a bait that just doesn't
work for you? You don't like the smell of the bait? It looks funny
so you don't use it? Maybe you didn't use it at the right time or
fish it the right way! CHASING
