Description
Prosser Creek Dam and Reservoir, completed in 1962, are located
on Prosser Creek about 1.5 miles above the confluence of Prosser
Creek and the Truckee River. The dam and reservoir are features of
the Washoe Project. Area is open year-round (frozen during winter).
A surface area of approximately 750 acres at full reservoir storage.
About 11 miles of shoreline. Ice fishing during the winter.
Available species include rainbow and brown trout. A
5-miles-per-hour speed limit on the reservoir. Access by paved road.
Year-round fishing.
