Description
The second largest natural lake in
California, Eagle Lake is framed by pine and sage. Eagle Lake is
famed for its trophy trout averaging three to five pounds. Camping,
fishing, swimming, picnicking, and boating are also popular
activities.
Family and group campgrounds,
naturalist activities, a marina, several boat launch facilities, a
store, a laundry and showers are available. The five mile long South
Shore Trail is ideal for bicycles or just an easy, pleasant stroll.
Eagle Lake also has many accessible recreation features for persons
with disabilities.
