Ice House Reservoir is located approximately 35 miles northeast of Placerville in the beautiful El Dorado National Forest. There are four camping facilities available suitable for both tents and RV's. All boating is permitted as well as water skiing, and swimming; launching facilities available.

Directions to Lake: From Pollock Pines, on Hwy 50; go E 9 mi. to Ice House Rd., near Riverton. Turn N on Ice House Rd., toward Crystal Basin, go 10.5 mi. to Ice House Reservoir turn-off. 1) Turn E, go 1.5 mi. to Ice House Res. 2) Stay on Ice House Rd., go 5.5 mi. farther. Turn W, go 1.5 mi. to Union Valley Reservoir. 3) Continue on Ice House Rd., go 13 mi. farther to Loon Lake Rd. Turn E, go 5 mi. to fork in road, then turn E to lake.
