Del Valle Reservoir

  • Description
    Del Valle Reservoir is located east of Livermore in the oak covered hills of the Sierra Nevada's. The lake has 16 miles of shoreline. There are several campgrounds located around the lake suitable for tent, RV's, and group camping; sewer and water hookups available. All boating is allowed with a speed restriction of 10 mph; launching facilities and boat rentals available. Swimming is restricted to beach areas where lifeguard is on duty.

    Directions to Lake: From Hwy I-580, 3 mi. E of Livermore; turn S on Vasco Rd., go 3.3 mi. to Tesla Rd. Turn W, go 0.8 mi. to Mines Rd. Turn S, go 3.6 mi. At Y intersection, bear right onto Delle Valle Rd., go 3.1 mi. to Regional Park entrance, then 1 mi. to boat ramp/parking.
