Caples Lake is located approximately 60 miles east of Jackson in the beautiful El Dorado National Forest. The lake has one camping facility with 35 sites accommodating both tents and RV's. All boating is permitted with a 5 mph speed restriction. Improved launching facilities and boat rentals are available at the lake.
