Lake Amador is located about an hour from Sacramento and Stockton and 2 1/2 hours from the Bay Area. Amador is a small lake with 14 miles of shoreline but offers everything any angler could want. Power boats are permitted however the lake is closed to water-skiing and jet-skis. The lake has full facilities including campgrounds, marina, boat rentals, store, etc. All facilities are open from early February through Thanksgiving. Amador is one of California's premier bass fishing lakes with both quantity and quality a daily occurrence.
