Don Pedro, very good action on rainbows. Try working the surface down to 35'. Lures that are very productive; Vance's Little Slim Willie with nightcrawler or scented grub, Ex-Cel small shad or Vance's Nasty-Boy or rolling frozen shad off a Pro-Troll Harness. Rainbows to four pounds. King Salmon can be found in Upper Bay, Woods Creek and in the Toulumne River arm, work 40' to 60' trolling shad or anchovies for kings two to three pounds.

The kokanee fishing at Don Pedro has cooled down somewhat and the fish seem to be scattered more now and are holding deeper from 50 to 80 feet deep in the Willow Tree area. The fish that we caught on Friday were up to 16 inches, and were caught on Seps copper dodgers and Uncle Larrys spinners.  The kokanee bite was slow on Friday but the rainbow trout action was good at depths of 28 to 35 feet on Excel lures.

The king Salmon action has also slowed and the fish are deep, but still catchable.
